Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 9, 2026

In short

  • We use your mobile number to verify you and send order updates, and your files, name and address only to print and deliver your order. We never sell your data.
  • Your files are deleted 7 days after delivery. Your files stay yours.
  • You can cancel until printing starts (a 3% platform and payment gateway charge applies) and modify an order once before printing.
  • Report a print or delivery problem within 24 hours of delivery, with a video (we can't accept photos), to claim a reprint or refund (see section 5).
  • With Partial COD you pay a 25% deposit online and the rest at delivery. Cancel before printing and the deposit comes back (minus 3%); if the parcel is refused or can't be delivered, the deposit is kept to cover printing and shipping (see section 4A).

You accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy by ticking the box when you verify your mobile number (or, if you're already signed in, at checkout); we record that acceptance with its time. Your acceptance applies to every order you place while these Terms are in force; if we change them, we'll ask you to accept again before your next order.

1. Your Data

While we employ high-standard encryption and security measures, you acknowledge that no online transmission is 100% secure. We automatically delete your uploaded files from our servers 7 days after the order is delivered (or after a reorder of the same files is delivered), and keep them longer only while a complaint or reprint on that order is still open. Invoices and other tax records (which never contain your files) are kept for at least 72 months, as GST law requires. We do not sell your data. We share it only with our printing and packing teams, and with the courier and payment service providers who need it to deliver and bill your order, as listed in our Privacy Policy, or where the law requires it. Your rights over your data, and how to use them, are set out there.

2. Communication Preferences

By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive order updates, delivery notifications, and transactional messages via WhatsApp. You can opt-out at any time by replying 'STOP' or contacting our support.

3. Delivery & Shipping Policy

All delivery timelines displayed on the website and in order confirmations are estimates only and are subject to the following conditions:

Important delivery disclaimer: Any delivery date shown on the website, checkout, receipt, or order confirmation is an estimated timeline under normal conditions only. We aim to deliver within this stated window, but actual delivery depends on courier performance, holidays, weather, service availability, and destination accessibility. If you are running on a strict timeline, you should contact our team before relying on the estimate for any critical submission, event, exam, or deadline-sensitive use.

  • Working Days are defined as Monday through Saturday, excluding Sundays and national public holidays. All estimated delivery timelines are expressed in working days.
  • Actual delivery timelines may vary based on the courier partner's operational capacity, route availability, weather conditions, and the recipient's geographical location (including remote areas, restricted zones, and areas with limited courier access).
  • Delays caused by courier partners, weather disruptions, natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest, or other force majeure events are beyond our control and do not constitute grounds for order cancellation, refund, or delivery refusal.
  • OnlinePrintout.com is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from delayed deliveries.
  • If a shipment is confirmed lost or undelivered beyond 15 working days from dispatch, the customer may contact our support team for investigation and appropriate resolution.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD) / Pay on Delivery

This section applies to Cash on Delivery orders paid in full at the door. Partial COD orders are governed by section 4A, which prevails.

COD/Pay on Delivery is a privilege extended to verified repeat customers who meet the minimum cumulative order value threshold (past orders totalling ₹5,000 or more). By opting for COD, the customer agrees to the following terms:

  • (Cash on Delivery orders paid in full at the door; Partial COD is governed by section 4A, which prevails.) COD orders cannot be refused, rejected, or returned at the time of delivery on grounds of delivery delay, changed personal requirements, or any reason other than visibly damaged goods at the exact point of handover.
  • The customer is obligated to accept and pay for the COD shipment upon delivery. Refusing a COD delivery without valid quality-related grounds (visible physical damage) will result in:
    • Permanent forfeiture of COD eligibility on the customer's account.
    • Liability for return shipping costs and a handling fee.
    • Potential blacklisting from future orders.
    • Legal action for fraud repeated or wilful refusal of COD deliveries may be treated as attempted fraud under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. OnlinePrintout.com reserves the right to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings to recover losses including product cost, shipping charges, and associated legal fees.
  • A non-refundable Courier COD collection fee (₹50 or 2.5% of the order value, whichever is higher; it covers the courier's charge for collecting the payment at your door) is applied to all COD orders paid in full at the door (Partial COD: section 4A prevails). GST applies to this fee at the highest GST rate on the order, the same way as the handling & packaging fee. The fee and its GST are clearly displayed before order placement.
  • OnlinePrintout.com reserves the right to revoke COD access for any customer at its sole discretion and without prior notice.

4A. Partial Cash on Delivery

Partial Cash on Delivery ("Partial COD") lets you pay part of the order online when you place it (the deposit) and the rest to the courier when the parcel arrives. When Partial COD is offered at checkout, these terms apply to it:

  • Who can use it. Any customer who has verified their mobile number. It is limited to a set number of orders per phone number (currently one order) and to orders of up to ₹5,000 (the order value before the Courier COD collection fee). The checkout shows whether it is open to your order and how many Partial COD orders your number has left.
  • The deposit. 25% of the total order value, rounded up to a whole rupee, paid online when you place the order. The balance is paid to the courier at delivery, in cash or by UPI as the courier supports, and the parcel is handed over once it is paid. Both amounts are shown before you pay.
  • The fee. The total order value includes the Courier COD collection fee of ₹50 or 2.5% of the order value, whichever is higher; it covers the courier's charge for collecting the payment at your door. GST applies to this fee at the highest GST rate on your order, the same way as the handling & packaging fee. The fee and the GST on it are shown as their own lines before you pay.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel any time until printing starts, from the Manage order page. The deposit is refunded minus a 3% platform and payment gateway charge (rounded up to a whole rupee), automatically to your original payment method, and the balance is no longer due.
  • If the parcel is refused or can't be delivered. Your order is printed to your files and shipped to you, and a returned parcel is shipped back to us at our cost. So if the parcel is refused by you at the door, or can't be delivered because you could not be reached or the address you gave was wrong or incomplete, the deposit is kept. The deposit is a genuine pre-estimate of the loss this causes us — printing your order and shipping it both ways — and not a penalty. It is the only amount kept, and the balance is no longer due. Those are the only cases: a parcel lost or damaged by the courier, or returned because of something on our side, is not a refusal, and the deposit is refunded. A parcel that arrives visibly damaged is not treated as refused: report it within 24 hours as set out in section 5.
  • Order changes. If you change a Partial COD order before printing (section 5), any extra amount is paid online at the time of the change. The amount due to the courier at delivery stays as shown when you placed the order.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

You can cancel an order any time until printing starts, from the Manage order page. The refund is everything you paid online minus a 3% platform and payment gateway charge (rounded up to a whole rupee); the exact figure is shown before you confirm, and the refund is made automatically to your original payment method within 5–7 working days. Once printing has started, the order cannot be cancelled.

An order can be modified once, and only before printing starts. That one modification covers everything — files, print options and the delivery address. A change that costs more is charged; a change that costs less keeps the original price, because a modification is never refunded (only a cancellation is).

Apart from a cancellation, refund eligibility is strictly limited to the following scenarios:

Full refund or reprint is applicable ONLY for:

  • Physically damaged prints received during transit (e.g., water damage, torn/crushed pages).
  • Significant printing defects (e.g., completely blank pages, wrong document printed, incorrect binding type applied).
  • Missing pages or missing copies confirmed against the original order specification.
  • Lost packages confirmed by the courier partner after a formal investigation.

The following are explicitly NOT eligible for refund or replacement:

  • Delivery delays regardless of the duration, delivery delays caused by courier partners or external factors do not constitute grounds for refund, cancellation, or order rejection under any circumstance.
  • Minor colour variations between on-screen display and physical print output, which occur due to differences in monitor calibration, colour profiles, and laser printer technology.
  • Formatting or layout issues originating from the uploaded source file (e.g., cut-off text, missing embedded fonts, incorrect page margins).
  • Orders where the customer selected incorrect print options (e.g., wrong binding type, wrong colour mode, wrong paper GSM).

All refund or reprint claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery — from your Manage order page, or via WhatsApp (+91 9315593183) or email ([email protected]) — with video proof only — photos can't be accepted, as they can now be generated or edited. Send one uncut video of up to 60 seconds; for missing or damaged items (including a parcel damaged in transit) it must be your unpacking video, filmed as you opened the parcel. Claims submitted after this 24-hour window may not be honoured at our discretion. Orders placed under our earlier Terms keep the 48-hour window they were placed under.

6. Limitation of Liability

OnlinePrintout.com's total liability for any order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that specific order. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

7. Your Files & Content

Your files stay yours. We don't claim any rights in them and use them only to print your order.

Please upload only documents you're allowed to print — your own work, or material you have permission to copy. We print files as you send them and don't check their content, so you're responsible for what you upload. If a claim is ever made against us because of a file you uploaded, you agree to cover the costs that result.

If we find out, or are told, that a file is unlawful — for example by its owner or by the authorities — we may stop that order and refund it.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana.

9. Refer & Earn

If you take part in our Refer & Earn programme, the Refer & Earn Programme Terms also apply to you. They are separate from these Terms and have their own version, which you accept before you get a referral link. If you simply place an order through someone else's link, nothing changes for you: your order is priced as usual and you get no discount, and the person who referred you may earn a reward for it.
